This is what happens when you have a good idea and then you get hella lazy. There should be more glass, the colors are messed up...and there should be more glass.
and he looks like a zombie.
More Hugo. because...I...yeah u.u
*Edit: Changed/added a few things based on suggestions and less laziness. ^__^d
There is nothing wrong with more Hugo *nods* Hugo and his shoes. And an awesome idea. very awesome, indeed, and fine looking. You're too hard on yourself, sometimes *tsks*
I think you're right about the eyes! Maybe that's what was bothering me about them. I think I'll try and tinker with that later....and see if I can work up the patience to fix the floor bits as well XD I'm glad the flying bits look ok at least, I was kinda iffy on those as well. ^_^'
Brilliant idea, you did a lot of good dynamic things in this piece, like breaking borders and having perspective. Mostly the glass did it, but that made the effect all the more impressive!
I did notice one thing right off the bat though. The pose seems so akward when it comes to his head. It kind of makes him look like he's falling over.
I think it's mostly in the neck area, and after staring at it a bit, it might be too long. And then with the feet: It looks like he's floating. That's mostly fixable with a little shadow, like if you go back to your stock and look at how they did the shadow. ^__^
Still, it's a great piece and I like it a lot. : D
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
