Theoretically this will be part of a larger picture, at which point there will be an actual background. But for now... -_-'
Thought I'd try something different with the coloring. Still don't like the wind effect. :< And it's silly anyway, cause he usually just creates a vacuum to knock people out.

So much for not drawing Hugo again >.<
In our aberrant game he's had to make some very difficult decisions and they've finally worn him down. Adapt or die, I guess. Poor thing, he used to be such a gentle creature. u.u

Your lines and shading are looking really clean, very comic-bookish. :XD: I agree about the wind, but I can see the pic and its style as having an interesting potential.

The shading on the pant-folds and the guy's actualy shadow look GREAT! I think the only reason why the wind sticks out is becuase its not as sharp-edged as the rest of the picture. Maybe you could replace it with a more stylized wind with an actualy definite shape to make it fit in more.

yes! I've always liked noir-style stuff but never been very good at pulling it off. I'm glad I've gotten a bit closer ^.^

hmmm, that is a good plan on the wind. I haven't a clue as to how to execute it, but that's not gonna stop me from trying! I really want this to look right, for some reason XD
